Top of the Hill

We are a non-profit social and civic neighborhood association located in beautiful Newport, Rhode Island.

Formed in 1985, the Top of the Hill Association (TOH) is an independent organization with over 200 members, run exclusively by volunteers.   

Our mission is to enhance the social ties, civic engagement and cultural interaction among our members and within our historic city.  We strive to protect the character of our famed neighborhood while also working with other groups interested in the betterment of Newport, thereby enhancing the quality of life for all residents.

We encourage all of our neighbors to be involved in the Association for the good of our renowned city, and very importantly, to ensure the strong sense of connected community in our exceptional neighborhood and our historical city by the sea.
