An opportunity to watch the 1974 version of The Great Gatsby with Redford and Farrow at Jane Pickens Theater in the city the movie was filmed, our beloved Newport on November 9 at 7:30 pm. I’ll be looking to see how the recently restored Rosecliff compares to the Rosecliff of 50 years ago when Redford and Farrow graced the mansion owned by Preservation Society of Newport County. Hello fellow Top of the Hill members! I wanted to follow up on two items from the recent Q and A session a few weeks ago with the two candidates in today's election race for Ward 2 City Council seats, incumbent Lynn Ceglie and challenger Matt Grant. There was discussion of the Newport housing mix, and copies of data sheet published by Housing Works RI at Roger Williams University was passed out by Matt. A copy has been posted here - lots of interesting statistics to consuder.
