Hello neighbors! A few of us are forming a group to go hear the Larry Brown Swinglane Orchestra this coming Tuesday at Parlor. They are well-loved and respected big band/swing orchestra with a solid Newport following. They will be perfoming their big horn, big band jazz and swing stylings this coming Tuesday, February 25, from 8-10pm at Parlor Bar and Kitchen (200 Broadway at the intersection with Cranston Avenue; across from the Broadway Post Office).
UPDATE: I have a reservation starting at 7:30pm tonight for a large table with good sight and soundlines to the band - 8 and counting so far. Call the restaurant (Parlor is at 401.848.9081) to be added to the count if you can join us - under my name and the "Top of the Hill" reservation as noted in the reservation comments/special requests.
